Story of S.F. Brooke
I started my writing journey back in 2018 and have since self-published three books with more on the way and several writing projects in the works! I adore the community that I've found and will continue to share my stories with the world! I have always loved writing; several short stories and poems were written across websites and competitions. I hold the title Indie Author very proudly as once I found my passion I couldn't stop. My journey has been amazing and each person who reads my novels only makes me want to write more! As a Christian author, I write from a Biblical perspective and try to show the love of Christ through my characters and my books. I hope that you enjoy my novels and if I made you smile, laugh, or feel closer to God then my adventure has been well worth it. Thank you for taking the time to look at my novels and my website! Your support is extremely appreciated! God bless! ~ S.F. Brooke

The Rose of Rattlesnake Ranch
Lullaby Skies Ranch Series #1
The Rose of Rattlesnake Ranch is a Christian Western Romance, available through Amazon in paperback and Kindle. Released in 2024.

Synopsis below:

"Travel back to when the ranch first began…
When Jacob Travis first settled in Bonebooth, Texas in 1901, he realized the land was named appropriately. Dry as bones and covered in dust and disappointment, Jacob is set on making this land a place for himself and his fortune. All he needs is a helping hand... in the form of a mail-order bride.
When Laoise comes to America from Ireland to marry a rancher she's never met, their initial meeting is rockier than the terrain. Laoise brings along a faith in God that Jacob would rather ignore, but an alluring beauty and strength that draws him in more than he'd like.
He needs a working hand, not a wife.
However, when a tornado powers through the ranch, it leaves Jacob critically injured, possibly even crippled in one leg, and on bed rest for months. He's left with no choice but to let Laoise and her God take care of himself and the ranch.
When desperate times call for desperate measures, will Laoise and Jacob ever be able to build a life on the ranch...and possibly with each other? Or will they wither away just like the land of Bonebooth, Texas?
